And then it was evening...

The volcano spews under-lit smoke into the sky, occasionally belching a bright streak of lava on a tight arc towards the earth.
As the smokes moves on the wind it gets lost momentarily, only to be lit again like a dancer in the footlights by the Mountain On Fire. The smoke from each tragedy mingle in your vision, then slide again into darkness.

As you look down to the earth you see the gleam of the cockpit glass and the glint of the few intact angles of the plane. Closer, you can see the sharp edges of the milestone. And below it the crack in the earth is scar, the interior of which glows in the faintest light. To the right, you can see the road curving into the distance. It heads towards the silhouette of another stone and the shadows from far-off trees caper and bob around it.

Beyond the bushes to your left, you suddenly hear a sharp snort and a cough, wet and heavy sounds.

Do you:
-walk to the plane
-look in the crack in the earth
-inspect the milestone
-Run away down the road
-inspect the sound behind the bushes
